    a.  Position players accordingly

2.  Pitches Thrown

    a.  All positions should know the pitch type and location

    b.  Cheat steps

3.  Effective Communication

    a.  Listen for hot words, "X"

    b.  Call out the ball, "Ball, Ball, Ball"

    c.  Catcher must be the general

4.  Bunt Coverage(s)

    a.  Get the out - it's a rally killer

    b.  Utilize the most effective coverage

    c.  Call a pick play

5.  Double Play

    a.  Get the first out

    b.  Strong feeds

    c.  Remember the lead runner - base runner rounding third base, especially on 1 out

6.  Middle Defense

    a.  Athletic position players at C, SS, 2B, and CF

    b.  Centerfielder needs to track ground

7.  Infield and Outfield Play

    a.  Catch the ball with two hands

    b.  Be aggressive

    c.  Communicate effectively

    d.  Utilize a drop step and crossover step
